Twitter is probably the most powerful tool teachers have access to. Teachers can communicate with students, parents and other community members. They can ask question to a world wide community of educators, share resources and keep up with education news, topics and trends. When I talk with teachers who are not sure if they can use Twitter, I encourage them to try it 10 minutes at a time and you will learn something new. Twitter is an important part of growing a Professional Learning Network. The resources below have been created to introduce teachers to Twitter and help them get started using this powerful learning tool.

Today was the final day of our Topeka Public Schools Innovation Academy Summer Camp. Our Innovation Academy is a group of teachers who are technology leaders in their respective buildings. These teachers spent four days learning how to use and discussing how to integrate several tools into their classrooms.
