Major Google Classroom Update

There was a major update released to Google Classroom. Teachers now have the ability to differentiate posts, assignments, and question activities to specific students. Teachers don't have the ability to create groups within classroom, but can choose which students see certain assignments. If you choose to create one assignment/post to multiple classes you will not be able to select specific students in multiple classes. These assignments/posts will still be seen by all students. This is a features teachers have been asking for for a long time. 

Another update that teachers will be interested in is a couple of new notifications they will get when students turn in assignments. Teachers will now get email notification when a student turns in an assignment past the due date. Teachers will also get notifications when a student resubmits an assignment. I've had teachers complain about not knowing when students turn in assignments late. Now those teachers will get email notifications.
